Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is time for a client to reconnect with themself and build self-awareness in order to cultivate the life they wish to live. Therapy can be a transformative process in which I help guide clients on their own journey through supportive treatment interventions. I pull from a variety of treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of each client. Using a psychodynamic and relational lens, I pull from the following modalities; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Processing.

My areas of speciality are:

  • Emerging Adulthood

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Communication and conflict resolution

  • Work and career issues

  • LGBTQ+ affirming care

  • Womens issues

Family Therapy

Family dynamics are complicated. Very complicated. They are constantly changing, and evolve over time as the family's circumstances naturally change. Families face myriad challenges due to the loss of a loved one, intergenerational trauma, illness, divorce or something else entirely.

Whether your family includes yourself and your aging parents, you and your adult sibling(s), your spouse and your parents, or others, I am here to help. Through family therapy, my goal is that you may be better able to understand one another amidst your family system and potential past traumas, in order to move forward with love and respect for each other.

Clinical Supervision

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have been providing clinical supervision for over 10 years. I completed my graduate work at The Family Institute at Northwestern University in Counseling Psychology. I have been a practicing clinician for over 15 years. Some areas of specialization include: adolescence/emerging adulthood, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transition, family systems, LGBTQ+ affirming care, psychodynamic therapy, and relational therapy.

I believe that clinical supervision is a formal, professional, and collaborative relationship, structured to support the growth and development of the supervisee as a professional therapist. As a supervisor, I work from a relational and collaborative approach in order to foster the development of the supervisee’s own clinical style and confidence. It is a true joy for me to watch supervisees grow. I look forward to supporting you on your path as a clinician. Please reach out to inquire about supervision rates.

In addition to offering individual, private, supervision, I currently supervise in the Master’s of Counseling program at Northwestern University. I am also the co-founder and co-owner of Intentional Supervision Design.
