My approach is insight-oriented and relationally driven which prioritizes the client/therapist relationship and can offer a corrective emotional experience, supporting  a client’s growth and healing. This approach is known to have an empowering effect on a client, ultimately leading to a decrease in distressing symptoms. Additionally, therapy increases self-awareness, allowing a client to fully engage with life. I work from a multicultural lens, acknowledging that our social identifiers (age, race, ethnicity, religion, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, body shape/ size, etc) impact the way in which we navigate life.

I work with emerging adults (18-24 years old) adults, and adult family systems who struggle with an array of presenting problems. Some areas of specialty are:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Life Transitions (divorce, divorce of parents, transition to college, etc)

  • LGBTQ+ affirming care

  • Depression

  • Relational Issues
